Biology 3501: Evolution

Professor : Kenneth Olsen

 A general survey of organic evolution covering both population genetic and phylogenetic perspectives. Topics include Darwinian evolutionary theory, genetic variation within populations, natural selection, adaptation, formation of species, and macroevolutionary trends. Prerequisite: Biol 2960 and Biol 2970. Biol 3050 is recommended. Medium-size class. Credit 4 units.
